Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the fitting/removing actions of a foot fin by providing the foot fin with length adjusting means connecting the end portions of a heel strap to the intermediate sections of levers pivotally supported with one-end sections. CONSTITUTION: The end portions of a heel strap 33 kept at the free state are wound on the winding rods 41 and cross members 40 of the length adjusting means 42 of levers 34 in sequence, and the length of the strap 33 is adjusted. A boot is inserted into a foot insertion section 32, the strap 33 is suspended on a heel, the levers 34 are set to acting positions, the cross members 37 are hooked on engaging sections 36, and a foot fin can be easily fitted. When the engagement between the levers 34 and engaging sections 36 is released and the levers 34 are rotate to the nonoperational positions, the foot fin can be easily removed.
