PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of operability without changing the height of an operator's seat by forming a foot placing protruding part, formed of a box body, on the floor behind an operating pedal from the operator's seat of a construction machine.
CONSTITUTION: A box body 4 is fixed to the floor 3 behind an operating pedal 2 from an operator's seat 1 so as to form a foot placing protruding part. This box body 4 has specified height and also has a cutout part 9 at the center, taking account of the operability of the operating pedal and the like. The box body is also provided with a closable hinged lid 5 at the upper face so as to be able to store working boots, tools, small articles, and the like inside as occasion calls. Since the foot placing protruding part is formed by fixing such a box body 4, even an operator of small build can operate with feet placed thereon without lowering the height of the operator's seat 1, and as a result, desirable working visibility can be secured while enabling smooth lever operation and the like. In the case of the operator of small build not operating, the foot placing protruding part can be always removed.
