Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of undershoot of the speed change ratio such as an engine speed reduces up to a fuel recovery engine speed by reducing a speed change speed at upshift speed change time of a continuously variable transmission generated by releasing a foot from an accelerator pedal.
SOLUTION: A foot release upshift factor KLFS set to a positive value larger than 1, and a time constant T at foot release upshift speed change time is thereby set (S49) larger than an ordinary value (S47). In this way, at foot release upshift speed change time (S42 to S46 and S49), a speed change speed is reduced more than usual. When the foot release upshift factor KLFS is decided, the foot release upshift factor KLFS is decided so that the speed change speed is reduced up to the very limit of not causing undershoot of the speed change ratio such as an engine speed reduces up to a fuel recovery engine speed.
