To provide a football shoe which improves the comfort and sensitivity of a foot for a ball.

Football spike shoe 30 is equipped with a shoe sole 50 and an instep of a shoe 40 which is connected to this shoe sole. The instep of a shoe has an upper marginal part which demarcates an opening 46 for the insertion of a foot while extending continuously to cover at least an instep, the lateral part of the foot, and the posterior part of a heel at the point of use. The instep of a shoe 40 is equipped with a backward insert 70 and a forward insert 60. The backward insert 70 covers the posterior part of the heel at the point of use and is made of foldable and/or flexible material which is constituted toward the inside of this shoe in order to be able to insert the foot from the posterior part of this shoe. The forward insert 60 covers the instep at the point of use and is made of a flexible material which holds an instep part evenly without needing the use of a shoelace and a lace loop and is constituted so that comfort and the sensitivity of the foot for a ball are improved by it.
