PURPOSE: To provide a footing mat with feeling such as natural turf touch for stance, excellent cushionability, good appearances, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Thread A1, which is a multithread comprising monofilament of 20W200D made of a thermoplastic resin material with an elongation recovery not less than 10%, and thread B2, which is a multithread comprising monofilament of 100W700D made of a thermoplastic resin material with an elongation recovery not more than 3%, are mixed together and flocked in cut pile, then heated to form a mat. By heating, crimp states substantially different between thread A1 and thread B2 are produced to cause the difference of length between thread A1 and thread B2 to be not less than 2.0mm and the substance ratio of A1 and B2 to be in the range of 1.0:1.0 to 1.0:2.0.
