A footrest is for a leisure boat of assembling type having a canoe form hull structured by coupling together a plurality of members so that a rower's seat of submerging type is formed between the bow and stern, consisting of a footrest member 7 with the base end pivoted on the undersurface of the bow so that a foot placing part 17b at the forefront is movable from the fold-up position along the undersurface of the bow to a position under the bow as the rower's foot placing position and a support member 8 to locate and hold the footrest member 7 so that the foot placing part 17b is fixed to the rower's foot placing position.
