To provide a footstool capable of adjusting the height of a tread irrespective of any stage, easily setting a top board in a necessary height and safely improving appearance so as to prevent a foot from entering the lower part of the top board.
The footstool 11 is formed by providing supporting legs 13 capable of adjusting height to four corners of the lower surface of a rectangular tread 12, the supporting legs 13 can adjust the height irrespective of any stage by cylindrical upper leg bodies 20 fixed to the lower surface of the tread 12, lower leg bodies 21 capable of being stored in the upper leg bodies 20 and coming in and out from the lower end sections of the upper leg bodies 20 and a height adjusting screw screwed into screw holes bored in the upper leg bodies 20 by passing through the lower leg bodies 21, and a fixed front panel 14 stretched between the front supporting legs 13a located on both sides at the front side of the tread 12 and between the upper leg bodies 20 and a movable front panel 15 making an up and down motion by combining with the lower leg bodies 21 at the back side of the fixed front panel 14 and stretched between the lower leg bodies 21.
