Title:
FOOTWEAR HAVING OUTSOLE FORMED TO GIVE INSIDE AERATION OF SHOES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09322803
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the wearer comfortable to wear by providing an outsole with a cellular structure therein whose cells are open to the inside of a piece of footwear and forming a plurality of through-holes in a midsole for establishing communication of the cells of the outsole with the inside of the footwear. SOLUTION: A midsole 4 having an edge is arranged between an outsole 2 and an inner lining 3. The outsole 2 has therein a cellular structure, such as a honeycomb structure. The midsole 4 has a plurality of holes for forming communication of the outsole 2 with the inside of the footwear. This structure allows the deformation of the outsole during the walking to produce a pumping action for forming circulation of air in the footwear. In this way, self-aeration is provided and the footwear makes the wearer more comfortable and is particularly useful for good wearing.
