In the footwear storage rack, shelf boards 2 are horizontally provided in multiple stages vertically in a rack body 1, and footwear a is placed and stored on the shelf boards 2 to be housed in multiple stages in such a way that they can be taken out of the front opening. A pair of an upper and a lower shelf boards 2A and 2B horizontally provided to adjoin each other vertically are not set to face each other in parallel, but provided in a mutually inclined state, with the upper shelf board 2A downward inclined toward the front opening of the rack body 1, and the lower shelf board 2B downward inclined toward the depth of the rack body 1, as partial or whole constitution. The upper shelf board 2A of the upper and the lower shelf boards 2A and 2B in the mutually inclined state is provided to be drawable outward at the front of the rack body 1 from the rack body 1. A shelf board associating/starting start mechanism T is also provided to start turning of the lower shelf board 2B to be raised from the downward inclined state toward the backside of the rack body 1 to be horizontal.
