Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article of footwear, particularly, a women's shoe with a stepwise changeable heel height, by having a simply structured attaching/detaching device which causes no restriction in the design of a heel part, which is capable of maintaining installation strength even for an exchangeable heel part with a narrow diameter, and which takes no space in height direction.SOLUTION: The shoe is composed of a footwear body part and a plurality of heel parts that can be attached to and detached from the footwear body part through an attaching/detaching device. The shoe is further provided, as the solution, with: a dovetail part in which the attaching/detaching device is mounted on the heel support plate of the footwear body part; a dovetail groove part which is installed on the upper face of each heel part for the purpose of accepting the dovetail part; a locking piece which is installed, in the housing groove provided in the bottom of the dovetail groove part, with the finger catch part exposed and vertically rotatably energized, and which has a locking pawl part on the upper face side; and an engaging recess part which engages with the locking pawl part of the locking piece installed in the dovetail part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
