Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running shoe that can reduce a load on muscles and tendons.SOLUTION: The footwear is for running and is provided with a sole 1 and an upper 2. The upper 2 is provided, in an upper part from a foot joint, with an opening 20 for a leg to protrude and with an installation part 21 for installing a rigid part 3 that extends from the instep along the front face of a leg. The upper 2 is also provided with a binding fixture 4 for fitting the rigid part 3 to the instep and the shin. The rigid part 3 is smoothly curved and continuous from the proximal end E1 to the distal end E2, with the position of the proximal end E1 of the rigid part 3 set in a 3-45 cm upper range from the lower end of the inner ankle. The rigid part 3 covers no tip end of the toe, with the position of the distal end E2 of the rigid part 3 set in front from the Lisfranc joint J and in the rear from the IP joint of the big toe and the PIP joint of the second toe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
