To smoothly carry out force feed and to carry out a refurbishment process in a force feed device for a castable refractory or the like without causing clogging of fine powder.
In a force feed holder part 4 carrying out force feed of concrete, the castable refractory, or the like, a drain hole 9 is provided so as to freely open and close such that water left in a pump hopper of the force feed device 1 can be easily drawn out, and a mortar paste filler hole 7 is provided so as to freely open and close for filling a mortar paste. A slide gate 11 capable of cutting off influent cleaning water and high pressure air is provided so as to freely open and close in the force feed holder part 4 such that cleaning water and high pressure air flowing in from the drain hole 9 and the mortar paste filling hole 7 do not flow backwards toward an upstream pump side. A water filling tool 22 is formed so it can be connected to the drain hole 9, a high pressure air supplying tool 22 is formed so it can be connected to the mortar paste filling hole, and it is preferable to provide the drain hole 9 directly below the mortar paste filling hole 7.
