Abstract:
To measure forces with high accuracy at a high speed by speedily attenuating vibrations of a movable part at measurements.
A plate member 12, a proper electrical conductor, is fixed in parallel with a Roberval mechanism, and a circular magnet plate 16 supported by a holder 14 faces it near to both sides of the plate member 12. The magnet plate 16 is mounted to the holder 14 via screw shafts 17, and the distance of the magnet plate 16 to the plate member 12 is varied by rotating the screw shafts 17. At measurement, vibrations due to the force from the object to be measured are propagated to the plate member 12 and damped by the action of electromagnetic induction by a magnetic circuit of the plate member 12 and the magnet plate 16.
