To provide a force transmission device which can transmit a force between two elements and can block overload in a plurality of directions.
The force transmission device 20 includes an inner ring assembly 21 and an outer ring assembly 41 which form a ball joint, a spherical body 30 supported by the inner ring assembly 21 so as to make it butt against an outer ring assembly 41 side butting member 45 when the shaft centers of the inner ring assembly 21 and the outer ring assembly 41 are in agreement with each other, springs 33 and 34 elastically pressing the spherical body 30 against the butting member 45, a pair of rollers 25 and a pair of guide concavities 43g regulating a relative movement between the inner ring assembly 21 and the outer ring assembly 41 around the Z axis as a reference axis and permitting a relative movement between the inner ring assembly 21 and the outer ring assembly 41 around two axes intersecting the reference axis at right angles and intersecting each other at right angles.
