To provide a forced drainage pump which is easily retro-fitted to an existing drainage apparatus and capable of enhancing the flexibility of construction of a water section facility.
A side part space 55 is partitioned into a storage chamber 57 and an air chamber 59 by a partition member 56 in which the lower end edge is terminated at a position where an inner bottom face of a bottom part space 51 is not reached. On an outer wall of the storage chamber, an inflow nozzle is provided at least at one position and in the air chamber, an air pressure detection chamber 58A is formed which includes an air pressure detector and does not communicate with outside air. At a position lower than the air pressure detection chamber, an atmosphere communicating part 60 is provided which makes the air chamber communicate with the atmosphere, and an upper end portion of the atmosphere communicating part is positioned higher than the lower end edge of the partition member.
