To provide a jig for a water suction hose, capable of suppressing or preventing foreign matter from approaching to a strainer arranged at a tip end of the water suction hose for sucking water, or capable of removing the foreign matter deposited on the strainer.
A foreign matter removal jig 7 for a water suction hose is provided with a filter means at a suction port side of the water suction hose connected to a suction port of a pump, and spreading a pressurized-water pressurized by a pump to an outer surface side of the filter means, wherein the filter means is provided to cover an outer surface of the water suction hose. The jig includes a container arranged at either one end side at the outer surface side of the filter means and in an axial direction of the filter means and having the pressurized-water supplied from the pump, and a plurality of through holes 10 formed on a wall surface of the container along the outer surface of the filter means to eject the pressurized-water to a filter means side, wherein a bus of an internal wall surface of the through hole 10 is formed to intersect with a bus of an internal wall surface of a through hole adjacent to the through hole.
