Abstract:
To provide a foreign matter removal method capable of removing foreign matter contained in an electrode mixture sheet.SOLUTION: There is provided a foreign matter removal method for removing foreign matter 14 from an electrode mixture sheet 10 that is obtained by forming an electrode mixture 11 into a sheet shape. In the foreign matter removal method, a foreign matter-containing mixture part 12, which is a site, among the electrode mixture sheet 10, over the entire thickness direction DT of the electrode mixture sheet 10 and contains the foreign matter 14, is removed from the electrode mixture sheet 10 so that the foreign matter-containing mixture part 12 becomes a perforated part 16 penetrating in the thickness direction DT of the electrode mixture sheet 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
