Title:
FOREIGN MATTER REMOVING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08262951
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent developing characteristics from being deteriorated in the case of reuse because additive and minute flocculated matter are not removed by a paper powder separation means using a mesh.

CONSTITUTION: Residual toner left after transfer, which is fed from a cleaning device by a screw 41, is stuck to a roller 101 to be moved clockwise and attracted to a roller 102 having a magnet. The paper powder is removed by the mesh 103 when the toner is moved from the roller 101 to the roller 102. Then, the toner is fed to a roller 111 by a scraper 107 and made a thin layer on the roller 111 by an iron blade 113, and the toner having nearly the same component as fresh toner is fed from the roller 111 to a recovering roller 112 by a bias power source 116. The toner supplied to a screw 120 by a scraper 115 is refluxed to a developing device, and the component which is not suitable for development is recovered from the roller 111 by a scraper 114 and dropped to a box 130. Thus, the toner near to the fresh toner is reused.
