To provide a foreign matter sorting device which can remove hair and other dielectrics from a sorting object with a high accuracy and can remove all foreign matters by one step.

The foreign matter sorting device, for sorting various foreign matters and a good article W1 regarding a desired sorting object W, is equipped with a rotating electrode 1 which is arranged in the vicinity of the sorting object W falling down while drawing a prescribed orbit and of which the peripheral surface is charged at a prescribed voltage and a scraper 7 which is in contact with the peripheral surface of the rotating electrode and scrapes a dielectric foreign matter W3 mixed into the sorting object W adsorbed by the above peripheral surface from the peripheral surface. Thus, the foreign matter sorting device separates and removes the dielectric foreign matter W3 from the sorting object W.
