Title:
FOREIGN SUBSTANCE REMOVING DEVICE FOR FLUID PIPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3970228
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient and easy work for replacing a filter without the need for cutting off water.
SOLUTION: On part of a fluid pipe 1, a connection cylinder portion 7A is formed opening in a direction crossing the direction of a pipe axial center X. To an operation valve 8 for opening/closing an opening 7a of the connection cylinder portion 7A, a storage case 10 is attached for storing the filter 2 in a sealed condition for removing foreign substances from fluid. In the storage case 1, a moving operation means A is provided through a passage 8a of the operation valve 8 and the opening 7a of the connection cylinder portion 7A for selectively moving the filter 2 to a foreign substance removing operation position or to a storage position in the storage case 10. Furthermore, a detaching operation means B is provided for selectively rocking into such a connected condition where an opening portion 10a of the storage case 10 is connected in communication with the passage 8a of the operation valve 8 or into such an open condition that the filter 2 can be extracted to the outside through the opening portion 10a of the storage case 10.
