Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging die design supporting device and method by which a forging die in which a target member shape is formed is easily designed with high precision and to provide a computer-readable recording medium.
SOLUTION: In this device for supporting the design of a metallic roll die being the forging die, the number of work processes until the target shape is formed by the area reducing work of a material and material shapes in the respective processes are calculated based on the calculation formula of area reducing limit by work patterns and the calculation formula of area reducing work rates and cross-sectional shapes in the respective processes (S2-S3). The metallic roll mold having the target shape is designed based on calculated data (S4-S6).
