Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift capable of detecting the effect of a brake very easily.
SOLUTION: The forklift has a travel motor for driving/rotating driving wheels, the front wheel brake for driving/rotating load wheels, and a display for displaying various information. The forklift also has a current sensor for detecting a motor current running in the travel motor, a brake torque inducing means for inducing the brake torque of the front wheel brake based on the difference between the motor current detected when the front wheel brake is operated and the motor current detected when the front brake is not operated, and a brake torque comparing means for comparing the brake torque induced by the brake torque inducing means and the normal brake torque generated when the front wheel brake is normally operated and displaying the comparison.
