PURPOSE: To make it possible automatically rearrange form in response to the rearrangement of printing data by a method wherein respective predetermined logic page printing means, compounding means and rearranging means are arranged in a printer device, which can print the form and the printing data compounded with each other.

CONSTITUTION: A CPU 1 controls print section 4 on the basis of the data of RAM 2, which is connected by bus 9 with the CPU 1, and in conformity with the program of ROM 5. On the other hand, tape unit 6 is used for inputting and outputting print data or the like. At the same time, channel interface 7 is used as an on-line data transferring device between a host computer 10 and a data input section. In the constitution, a plurality of logical pages are defined on one physical page so as to print printing data in the logical pages. Further, forms, which are specified on respective logical pages, are compounded with the printing data. Furthermore, on the basis of the contents of the printing data, the printing data compounded with the forms are rearranged per logical page unit.
