Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a slip reading method of the image base inputted with the images of many slips that many slips may be sometimes processed in the state that paper directions are mixed the slips are asked to sort for each direction in advance for setting only the slips in the same direction to an image input device, and specifying the paper direction to an operator and application, then processes such as slip identification and character recognition are conducted after the images are rotated in the specified direction after being acquired. SOLUTION: The image data of the slips of multiple kinds to be read are read, and the feature information for identifying the slips is registered on a slip format storage memory in advance. The feature information of the individually inputted image data of the slips are collated with the slip identification feature information registered in advance to identify the slips, and the images are processed based on the identification results.
