Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the synchronization of a roller die so as to provide good form rolling for an article to be machined by providing a torque control means for equalizing one torque to another by comparing the detection results of both torque detecting means with each other.
SOLUTION: Each torque is calculated based on the torque signals of first and second torque sensors 58 and 59. If a difference is positive, since the torque of a first constant velocity joint 53 for transmitting a driving force to a first roller die 32 is large, an instruction for adjusting the torque transmission factor of a first variable clutch 52s is outputted to the drive circuit of the first variable clutch 52s so as to equalize one torque to another. If a difference is negative, since the torque of a second constant velocity joint 56 is large, an instruction for adjusting the torque transmission factor of a second variable clutch 55s is outputted to the drive circuit of the second variable clutch 55s so as to equalize one torque to another.
