PURPOSE: To attain the batch conversion of a document by using related information between a format (work sheet) and a document (specification), and reflecting the change and correction of the format, at the time of a software development or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A message receiving part 201 receives a message from a program for managing the format, a document file reading part 202 reads a document file 203 being the object of a format change, a message validity deciding part 204 decides the validity of the message from the state of the document being the object of the format change, and a document correcting part 205 changes the document. Thus, the correction and change of the format is applied to the entire documents (the document whose formal is individually changed and corrected is included), so that the reutilization of the format or the like can be easily attained.
