Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart an excellent rubbed fault property, waterproof adhesiveness and cold-hot cycle characteristic by forming a continuous powder coating film by drying preliminarly a thermosetting powder coating material and applying onto a matter to be coated, applying a water-dilutive coating material thereto and baking and curing powder coating film and the water-dilutive coating material. SOLUTION: At the time of coating an automobile, the coated film 4 of the thermosetting powder coating material obtained by adding a pigment, a surface regulating agent, etc., to a thermosetting resin and a curing agent is formed on a base material 1 on which a base coat 2 and an intercoat 3 are applied at first in order. The powder coating material is incorporated with a powder solid color coating material and a powder clear coating material and applied by an electrostatic spray coating, etc., and subjected to a predrying with a heating means such as oven to form the continuous powder coating film 4. Then the coating film 5 of the water-dilutive coating material is formed on the powder coating film 4, and the water-dilutive coating material is prepared by incorporating a water-based resin obtained from an acrylic resin, polyester resin, alkyd resin, etc. A double-layered film 10 is formed lastly by taking and curing each coating film 4 and 5.
