Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble in a press-forming without causing the drastical reduction in mass-productivity.
SOLUTION: A blank holding jig 11 on a table 2 holding a sheet metal blank 9 is interposed turnably around axial lines P having almost same phase in the upper and the lower parts with roller groups 12, 13 at the upper and lower sides. A flange-forming roller 18a in the upper side roller group 12 is changed over to a flange-forming position and a prescribed position at the upper end side of the sheet metal blank 9 is pressed by a flange forming die 17. Further, while turning the sheet metal blank 9 around the axial line P by a driving means 16, the holding jig 11 is slid near the axial line P and the curving surface part of the metal sheet blank 9 is moved while turning around the curvature center. The flange is formed in order from a prescribed position by linearly moving the flat surface part.
