PURPOSE: To facilitate the formation of an image-receiving layer dyeable with a sublimable dye by providing the image-receiving layer on a surface of an image-receiving body, for transfer recording, by a dry-type heating and pressing transfer method.
CONSTITUTION: A base 1 comprising a synthetic resin, a synthetic paper or the like having the same size as that of a printing paper for a video printer for forming images by use of sublimable dyes is provided with marks 2 indicative of a sensor mark for the video printer, a position for placing a card or the like, thereby obtaining a mount paper 3, on which the card 4 and an image- receiving transfer foil 5 are laid. The transfer foil 5 comprises a transfer foil base 7, a release layer 8, an image-receiving layer 9, an adhesion-controlling layer 10 and an adhesive layer 11. By this method, an image-receiving layer dyeable with sublimable dyes can be easily provided on a surface of the card or the like constituting the final form.
