Abstract:
To provide a joint of a woven fabric being substantially airtight and having a high mechanical strength.
The method for forming the joint of the woven fabric by a radiation welding process comprises a step for overlaying fragments of the woven fabric to be welded, a step for coating an ink absorbing the radiation, preferably an infrared energy on a region of the overlaid fragments to be welded of the woven fabric, and a step for exposing the ink-coated region of the overlaid fragments of the woven fabric to a radiation source having a wavelength to be absorbed by the ink absorbing the radiation.
