CONSTITUTION: As the needle stock A of metallic band plate is transferred at a fixed pitch, punching of needle stock, chamfering of the needle stock, pointing of the tip point, needle point working, needle root crushing, drilling and separation are carried out in sequence to conduct continuous formation from a metal plate of suture needles used in the operations of general surgery, formation, gynecology, ophathalmology, etc. In this way, it is possible to obtain products free from dispersion and fixed in dimensional accuracy and to automate polishing of the needle point at the following stage.
