Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a decomposition region to a desired position when a chemical pollutant is decomposed biochemically by arranging the strainer parts of pipes in the underground at a predetermined interval and performing treatment so as to supply a liquid decomposing material from one pipe while sucking liquid matter from the other pipe.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of work, at first, an injection pipe 31 and a suction pipe 32 are driven in the ground up to depth (1) and water or air is sucked from the strainer part of the suction pipe 32. The ground surface in the periphery of the suction pipe 32 is covered with a clay layer to prevent a leak. After the formation of a channel at the part (1) is developed, a liquid decomposing material is supplied to the injection pipe 31 and sucked from the suction pipe 32. The process of driving-in → formation of channel → injection → detection of injection soln. → stop of injection soln. is set to one cycle and, after the completion of one cycle, one set of injection/supply pipes 31, 32 are driven in the ground up to next depth (2) and, on and after, the same operation is repeated up to desired depth (3) to purify soil.
