Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form pressure-sensitive copy paper by freely forming a coating layer of color former microcapsule oily ink on the predetermined part of a sheet surface in parallel to the application of the printing of predetermined items on printing paper of every kind using a conventional pressure transfer type printing press.
CONSTITUTION: A microcapsule C containing a color former formed in an aq. system as a core substance is substituted with the vehicle of oily printing ink B to be dispersed therein while the physical capacity such as elasticity or strength at the time of formation thereof is kept to prepare color former microcapsule-containing oily ink 1 which is, in turn, printed on the predetermined part of the surface of a sheet 2 by a pressure transfer type printing press to form a coating layer 1' to produce pressure-sensitive copy paper 3.
