Title:
FORMATION OF SCREEN MASK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07101033
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To finely control the coating amt. of reflow solder by making the thickness of a screen mask thin at the opening parts for mounting various electronic parts of the screen mask and providing a large number of small through-holes to each of the opening parts.

CONSTITUTION: A screen mask 100 is generally formed by using a metal film with a thickness of about 200μm. Opening parts 410-a, 410b, 201, 202 for lands mounting electronic parts such as an IC, a resistor, a condenser or a connector are provided to the metal film At a land 101 where the coating amt. of reflow solder is especially desired to be controlled, the thickness of 200μm is reduced to about 70μm. Further, opening parts 102-a-102-n are provided to each of the opening parts for the lands. By this constitution, the coating amt. of the reflow solder can be finely controlled.
