Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely finish the opening end surface in the axial direction of a tooth top part to the shape without developing an underfill part, in the case of forming the tooth top part of an internal gear by increasing the thickness of the peripheral wall of a cupped blank with a position corresponding to the recessed forming space of a rotary inner die.
SOLUTION: While rotating the cupped blank W fitted to the rotary inner die together with the rotary inner die, the top part of the peripheral wall 102 of the cupped blank W is pressed at a fixed position so as to fluidize the thickness of the tip part thereof into the recessed forming space 11 of the rotary inner die, and the opening end surface in the axial direction of the tooth top part is finished. Thereafter, the peripheral wall 102 is pressed to the rotary inner die side to form the remained part of the tooth top part.
