CONSTITUTION: One hundred % a woody powder, e.g., wood chips, etc., is mixed with 20W40% vinyl chloride resin having a high mechanical strength, e.g., tensile strength, etc., enought to withstand expansion, 30% toluene or Aruma oil, and 5W10% azobisisobutylonitrile as a blowing agent. The mixture is well mixed, put in molds, and expanded by heating to 95W100°C to obtain a woody look expanded plate. In the woody look expanded plate, resin films 2 are exactly laminated on the surfaces of particles 1 in a serially connected manner and completely expanded voids 3 are formed among the particles 1.
