Abstract:

To provide a formed article of a biodegradable foamed polyester resin particle having high closed cell ratio, especially a formed article of a foamed polyester resin particle having low density and high compressive creep resistance and provide foamed polyester resin particle having high closed cell ratio.

The formed article of foamed particle has a density (g/cm3) and a compressive creep strain (%) falling within the range (including the boundary lines) formed by connecting the points A (0.008, 35), B (0.02, 10), C (0.25, 3), D (0.25, 0), E (0.008, 0) and A (0.008, 35) with straight lines on a graph drawn by using the density as the abscissa and the strain as the ordinate and has a closed cell ratio of ≥60%. The particle is made of a biodegradable polyester resin and has a bulk density of 0.008-0.12 g/cm3 and a closed cell ratio of ≥80%.
