PURPOSE: To put no limitation on the use of a formed article and deeply draw without limitation by a method wherein forming corrugating pulp fiber sheet equipped with a large number of corrugations in cross-section is employed as upper layer and forming corrugating paper sheet is employed as lower layer so as to be formed under heat and pressure by means of dies consisting of a top die and a bottom die.

CONSTITUTION: Pulp fiber sheet before working 24 and paper sheet 26 are fed to a corrugating machine 18 so as to respectively form a forming corrugated pulp fiber sheet 12 equipped with a large number of corrugations 10 and a forming corrugated paper sheet 14 by being passed between rollers 20 having unevenness thereon. Due to the forming corrugated paper sheet 14, deformation becomes smaller. By providing the corrugations 10, the pulp fiber sheet 24 and the paper sheet 26 are turned into stocks excellent in stretchability and malleability. Next, sheet prepared by laminating the forming corrugated pulp fiber sheet 12 as the upper layer and the forming corrugated paper sheet 14 as the lower layer to each other is fed through watermarking mechanism 28 in dies consisting of a top die 30 and a bottom die 32 and compressed under heat.
