PURPOSE: To provide the titled article having fine closed cell structure and excellent water-repellency, etc., by adding specific amounts of a silicone foam stabilizer and a fluorine-containing surface active agent to a prepolymer composed of a polyester polyol and a polyisocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: The titled formed article having closed cell structure having a cell diameter of 10W50μ is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a prepolymer composed of a polyester polyol (e.g. condensed adipate, etc.) and a polyisocyanate (preferably 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate, etc.) with (B) 0.1W3pts.wt. of a silicone foam stabilizer (e.g. nonionic stabilizer obtained by introducing a polyoxyalkylene group to dimethylpolysiloxane) and (C) 0.1W3pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing surface active agent (preferably the compound of formula having an oleophilic group Q bonded to a perfluoroalkyl group).
EFFECT: Excellent durability to severe compression.
USE: Bumper spring, etc. for automobile suspension.
