Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main stop type electric water heater having an expansion water processing joint capable of dampening restriction in attachment posture.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a main stop type electric water heater including an opening or closing valve for changing over supplying of water and stopping of water, a tank storing water supplied through the opening or closing valve and heating it, and an expansion water processing joint having a first inner flow passage where hot water supplied from the tank flows, a second inner flow passage for guiding hot water from the first inner flow passage toward a water discharging part for discharging water outside, a third inner flow passage for guiding hot water flowed from the first inner flow passage toward a water discharging hopper for discharging water to a water discharging pipe. The expansion water processing joint has an elastic member for closing a passage for the third inner flow passage through biasing hot water flow when a hot water flow speed flowing in the first inner flow passage is faster than a prescribed flow speed, and opening a passage for the third inner flow passage through its resiliency when the hot water flow speed flowing in the first inner flow passage is slower than the prescribed flow speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
