To provide a former with a boring punch which can rapidly and easily take out a boring punch or a cylindrical stripper for exchange without removing a die case from a machine side.

In this former with a boring punch, a boring punch 7 is removably fitted and supported in a punch support base 6 mounted on an inner side of a die case 4, and a cylindrical stripper 9 is slidably fitted in the boring punch 7. A first air cylinder 11, which can be selectively engaged in or disengaged from the boring punch 7 on the inner side of the die case 4 and is usually engaged in the boring punch 7 to prevent the withdrawal of the boring punch 7 from the punch support base 6, is provided. In addition, a second cylinder 12, which can be selectively engaged in or disengaged from the cylindrical stripper 9 on the front end side of the die case 4 and is usually engaged in the cylindrical stripper 9 to prevent the withdrawal of the cylindrical stripper 9 from the boring punch 7 while allowing sliding of the cylindrical stripper 9 on the boring punch 7, is provided. These first and second cylinders 11, 12 are constructed so as to be retractably operated by external operation.
