Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably form a metallic product provided surely with a projection having a desirable shape in the inner surface of a cylinder part.
SOLUTION: A metallic blank is held so as to be integrally rotatable in a part to be worked between the cylinder forming part 26 of a die 18 and a faced die 20, and on the other hand, a roller 68 is pushed to the part to be worked to tip the part to be worked with this corner part. Further, the ripped part is pressed while being sandwiched between the roller and the cylinder forming part and also, the tip part of the ripped part is abutted on a thickening mean 88 so as not to extend the ripped part and then, a thick cylinder part 98 having a columnar surface shape corresponding to the outer peripheral surface shape of the roller, is formed. Further, the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder part is pressed with a projection forming punch 134 while holding the metallic blank 100 forming this cylinder part between the projection forming part 110 of a die 102 and a faced die 104, and the inside part of the cylinder part is pushed into a projection forming recessed position 112 arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the projection part to form the projection 146 in the inner surface of the cylinder part.
