PURPOSE: To obtain prominent resistance to abrasion and permit to accommodate products efficiently into divisions by attracting the softened resin sheet material to push it against a mold.

CONSTITUTION: The resin sheet material 29 is fixed to a suction box 17 so as to close the opening of the upper surface of the box. When a starting switch is thrown, a table 7 moves a heater unit 15 to the upper side of the resin sheet material 29 in accordance with the driving of an electric motor 11. The heater unit 15 heats the resin sheet material 29 to soften it. The softened resin sheet material 29 is attracted into the suction boxy 17 while being extended by the suction unit 19 and is abutted against the mold 33 under pressure whereby the sheet 29 is formed into a requested recessed and protruded configuration in accordance with the recesses 33a and protrusions 33b. A supporting table 31 and the mold 33 are moved downwardly by the operation of an air cylinder 32, the resin sheet material 29 is separated from the mold 33, the fixed condition of the resin sheet material 29 to the upper end of a flange 17a is released, the resin sheet material 29 is removed from the inside of the suction box 17 and is cut as necessary.
