To provide a forming die for producing a dust core where, when a dust core is discharged from a forming die, a resin film on the surface of soft magnetic powder composing the outer circumference thereof is not peeled, thus the dust core with high quality can be produced, and to provide a method for producing a dust core obtained by using the same.
The forming die for producing the dust core at least comprises: a die 1 provided with a through hole 11 storing magnetic powder d,...; first and second punches 2, 3 press-forming the magnetic powder d,... respectively sliding the inside of the through hole 11 from both the edges of the through hole 11 and packed into the through hole 11. A plurality of groove strips 11a,... elongating in the sliding direction or almost sliding direction of the punches 2, 3 are formed at the wall face of the through hole 11.
