Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form sharp needle point by the surface layer having the highest hardness of stock.
CONSTITUTION: A forming die B is constituted of plural faces 15-17 forming a protruding angle (the angle made of two faces is ≤180°, the connecting line, at which both faces intersect, is of projecting shape) along the longitudinal direction of corner part of shape members 11, 12, a forming space 13 is constituted by abutting the corner parts of shape members 11, 12 as facing each other. While press forming a stock made of austenitic stainless steel of fiber structure, a sawing needle has a ridgeline 7, which is formed by two pressed faces 6a, 6b at outside/inside a curve part, and a blade 10 formed at both sides of bottom face 5, the ridgeline is made sharp at needle point, the sharp needle point is constituted of the fiber structure formed to the surface layer of stock. Further, the grinding tool mark formed on the surface of forming die in direction traversing the formed face is transferred to the above pressed faces.
