PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method and a forming apparatus by which space saving in equipment can be attained when a metal sheet is subjected to peen forming.
SOLUTION: The main surface of a metal sheet 61 is scanned so as to be a prescribed pattern while applying impact thereto with the tip of a needle 4, and the metal sheet 61 is subjected to peen forming so as to be projected to the main surface side.
