To provide a method forming a damper molded by a material rich in elongation and plastic deformation properties like lead fixable to an arbitrary part of a structure.
Both end parts 2, 2 of a molded unit 1 of material are interposed by a pair of flat steel plates 4, or covered with a box-shaped steel plate, to be connected by a bolt inserted in these plates. Both end parts of the molded unit of material are covered with a pair of half-split steel pipes (the case is provided mounting a fixing steel plate in both ends), both side edge parts of the half-split steel are connected by a bolt, the half-split steel and the molded unit are connected in an adhesive condition. Or both end parts of the molded unit are press fitted into the steel pipe (in some cases, mounting fixing steel plate is provided in both ends), to be integrally connected.
