Abstract:

To provide a method of forming a bus electrode of a front plate for a plasma display panel (PDP) with a high precision easily at low cost while maintaining high any one of contrast and conductivity of the display surface.

In printing an electrode pattern by an intaglio offset printing method, (1) a process of transferring a conductive metal ink supplied to a pattern forming intaglio to a printing blanket, (2) a process of transferring and laminating a black ink containing a black metal oxide or/and a black compound alloy by an intaglio offset printing on the conductive metal ink layer transferred on the above blanket, (3) a process of transferring the laminated ink from the blanket on a transparent substrate, and (4) a process of sintering the ink pattern printed and formed as above are provided, and by making the relation of the transfer speed V1 (mm/sec) of the (1) process and the transfer speed V2 (mm/sec) of the (2) process as V1≤V2, the front electrode for the PDP is formed.
