To provide a forming method for a leather tile and to provide a tile obtained by its method.
A leather tile (10) has a semi-finished leather tile (1) with a first face (2), a second face (3), a side edge (4) and a penetrated hole (5). In particular, the penetrated hole has a desired shape and extends between the first face and the second face of the leather tile. The semi-finished leather tile has only one penetrated hole but the leather tile has a plurality of holes with the desired shape that provides a script, a decoration, a design and the like. The penetrated hole is filled with a hardened resin so that a part of a resin, consistent with the penetrated hole in the first face, appears. The hardened resin extends from the first face to the second face so as to namely face its lower face completely. Thus, a completed tile has a leather layer combined with a plastic resin layer with a determined thickness. Therefore, the lower face is flatted and the thickness of the whole is made uniform.
