PURPOSE: To sequentially form the coated layer wound up orderly with wires at regular intervals by a method wherein two wire sets of opposite winding direction each of which consists of multipieces of wires, are wound up around an inner moving pipe at an approximately same position along the inner pipe axis by means of a specific device.
CONSTITUTION: The inner pipe, which is moving at a set speed to the arrow direction is inserted into the fixed guide pipe 11. The longitudinal wire material 2 is fed from the guide groove 14 at the cone type nose 13 and is put on the inner pipe 1. The wire materials 3, 4 fed out of each of the bobbins 17, 18 of the mutually and opposite directionally rotating circular plates 15, 16 are made to contact with and slide on the resistance material 20, 23 inserted and fixed at the nose 13, while keeping the proper tension, and they are wound around the inner pipe 1 directly after they leave the resistance members 20, 23. When the resistance member 23 is made to approach the resistance member 20, then, the distance between the resistance member 20 guide face 21 nose and the resistance member 21 inserting hole 24 inlet is made small and two sets of the latitudinal wire material 3, 4 are wound up around the inner pipe 1 at approximately the same position.
